The late summer edition of Lehigh Valley Comic Convention, an event that takes place two, three, or four times each year, returned to its primary location at the Community Services Center and Lehigh Carbon Community College in Schnecksville, PA.
The comics fest was spread throughout the building with an ample Dealers’ Room, a wide Artist/Creator Alley, a separate room for featured guests, and additional artists and craftspeople spread throughout various corridors.
Comics creators included a handful of writers and artists who have done work in mainstream comics and media, including artist Will Torres, artist and colorist Glenn Whitmore, inker/artist Bob Petrecca, and Strange Planet creator Nathan W. Pyle.
The bulk of Artist Alley was comprised independent comics creators and rising comics artists and writers.
Cosplay Corner offered photo ops with cosplayers including Shrek, Captain America (from Shield for a Cause), and several Star Wars communities. And, as is the case at all comics fan fests, some attendees provided their own creative cosplay.
